Welcome To Our School

Central Foundation Girls’ School is a large, oversubscribed, and inclusive 11-18 inner-city girls’ school in Bow, E3, and has an excellent reputation both locally and nationally. The school works hard to ensure that all students reach their potential and succeed in their exams. Our results demonstrate that we are consistently improving, with students achieving higher grades each year at GCSE.

Our results at 6th Form are also impressive with our 6th Form outcomes being recorded at outstanding. Central Foundation is a Specialist College for Performing Arts and Student Voice. This means that alongside our exciting curriculum offer students get additional opportunities to develop skills in Drama, Dance, Music and Art and to take on roles as Student Leaders within the school and in the local community.

In 2009 Ofsted praised our students’ good behaviour and our varied curriculum offer. Our work on community cohesion and students’ contribution to the community were judged to be outstanding. The school continues to develop at every level and is demonstrating its capacity to be outstanding in every area.

Central Foundation Girls’ School is a successful school. We provide amazing opportunities for all our students, in an environment that challenges and supports all to become confident, high achieving, young women well equipped to become leaders of the future.
