Admissions Policy

Find out more about the admissions process. Will I need an interview? You will be invited to an interview within 4 weeks of us receiving your application. This interview will be with a senior member of staff to decide on a suitable course. What do I need to bring to interview? You should bring your Record of Achievement, or Progress File, even if it is not complete. Read more...

Application Process Print E-mail
 Step 1: Complete the application form either on-line or in the prospectus
              booklet.
 
 Step 2: Return application form to CFGS either by post, email, fax or in
             person.
 
 Step 3: If applying online, we will contact your referees to provide details of your grades,
             attendance and suitability to the course you have applied for.
 
 Step 4: We will write to you to confirm that we have received your
            application and give you a date for a first interview. If we are unable
            to offer you a place you will be notified.
 
 Step 5: Attend the interview with a Senior Member of Staff. This interview is
            so that we can find out more about you and offer you a course which is
            suitable to you.
 
 Step 6: A letter will be sent confirming the course(s) we have offered you.
            You must return the reply slip to confirm if you accept the offer.
 
 Step 7: Induction Morning - 3rd July 2012. All students who have accepted
            the offer will be invited to attend for the morning to sessions in the
            subjects you have accepted.
 
 Step 8: Get your exam results on 23rd August 2012.
  
 Step 9: Enrol - attend a short interview to confirm the course you will be
            studying and then enrol on 23rd or 24th August 2012.
 
 Step 10: Start CFGS Year 12 - please look at Term Dates.
