Central Foundation Girls' School is internationally linked with a variety of schools, world wide and uses the school's Virtual Learning Environment, Fronter, to communicate with our partner schools. Central + After School Just Got Exciting!

Want your child to get extra help with her studies? Need a place for your child to be cared for after school or in the holidays?

Students at Central + engage in a balanced programme offering:

  • Help with homework with support from expert award winning tutors and teachers.
  • Free and safe internet access on state of the art computers.
  • A challenging and fun list of clubs and activities.
  • Healthy snacks offered to students.
  • Central + offers students exclusive trips and support as well as the opportunity to relax and socialise with their friends.
  • You'll get peace of mind that they are being cared for in a safe and stimulating environment and they'll get the help that they need. All this for £6 a day!

Our busary scheme offers a limited number of free places for students who would benefit from attending the service.

Central + is part of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets "Safe Place To Be" programme which will run from April 2009. It offers personalised learning and support for children 11 - 14 years, from 3.20 - 6.00pm in term time and 10 - 4.00pm in the holidays. It is open to all children aged 11 - 14 in the Local Area Partnership 5&6.

We are offering two great incentives for parents and families to join Central +. From September 2009 we are offering places at a 50% discount - that's right that £3 per day. We are also offering members a special bring a friend for free Friday scheme.

Thanks to our innovative friendship scheme Fridays are fun at Central +. When they join every Central + member gets a special set of cards that they can give to friends to enable them to bring a friend for free on Friday. Members can bring the same friend every Friday or bring a different friend every time. Members can bring a maximum of 1 friend every Friday.

Special Offer - 50% for new starters in September 2009 to July 2010

New starters in the next academic year can take advantage of Central + with 50% off the daily fee of £6. This is a limited offer but will be in place for the entire academic year. That's right! A whole year at half price!

Bursary Scheme

Central + has a limited number of free places offered through its bursary scheme. The bursary scheme is operated to ensure that families and students who need help are offered support towards the costs of attending Central +.
