International Links

Central Foundation Girls' School is internationally linked with a variety of schools, world wide and uses the school's Virtual Learning Environment, Fronter, to communicate with our partner schools. CFGS Community Performing Arts & Sports Centre

Our commitment to our community includes the operation of our Community Performing Arts and Sports Centre.  The centre was opened in 2005 and offers a number of different services to the community.  As well as offering access to our gym facility local community groups and sports clubs are able to hire the centres facilities which range from a full size indoor sports hall, badminton courts, dance studio, or outdoor 5-a-side football pitch.  We have modern changing rooms with showers and are able to accommodate a range of sports.

School Gym

Our centre has a fully functioning gym that is well equipped for use by adults of all ages.  Our trained staff our able to tailor fitness programmes for any level and are always on hand to offer helpful and friendly advice.  We operate a number of women only sessions and have put on activities for all the family.

Session times

Mondays - 4-6pm  Women only – 6-10pm Mixed
Tuesdays - 4-6pm  Women only – 6-10pm Mixed
Thursdays - 4-6pm  Women only – 6-10pm Mixed

Joining the Gym

We operate a simple, affordable membership and payment scheme.  The gym costs £10 to join as a member for a year – this is non-refundable.  You then pay £1 each time you use the gym.  There is no contract and no monthly fee. To join all you need do is either ring 020 8981 3434 to book an induction or come in during our opening hours. 

Community Archery

Sports Hall

Our large sports hall is perfect for all kinds of indoor sports.  It is able to accommodate four badminton courts, circuit training, five a side football, netball or basketball.  Prices start from £30 per hour.
