Central Foundation provides a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of every student. In Years 7 to 9, the full range of National Curriculum subjects is taught and students are mostly taught in mixed ability form groups although there is setting in certain subject areas.

In Years 10 to 11, a wide range of subjects are offered and students have the opportunity to specialise. There is a greater amount of setting in preparation for externally accredited qualifications. All students study citizenship.

In the Sixth Form there is a wide range of both academic and vocational courses to meet the needs of all students.

We have a specialist Post-16 Studies Centre so that Sixth Form students have their own facilities whilst remaining very much part of the school.
