Supporting and Challenging the Individual Print E-mail

Central Foundation supports and challenges students in their learning by providing a stable and well organised environment with a strong pastoral system. Individual differences are recognised and celebrated and students know that their contributions are valued. We challenge students by demanding high levels of effort and attainment in classwork and homework. Full attendance and good behaviour are a basic expectation.

We have a strong Inclusion Faculty, where staff identify and work with those students who have particular learning and/orbehaviour needs. This faculty also supports the needs of students for whom English is not their first language. Students with special educational needs have programmes of work specifically designed for them by specialist teachers and additional support is provided for individuals or small groups.
