361U4991At Central Foundation, we value the contribution our recently trained colleagues have to make to the school and its development. Their energy and commitment offer fresh perspectives on teaching and learning practices. The reciprocity between colleagues in their first 4 years of teaching and more experienced staff is one of the school's abiding strengths.

Years 2 to 4 of your teaching career can be a time to embrace your professional development with greater independence and increasing self reliance.  At CFGS, we offer you a bespoke programme to build on your strengths, meet your particular needs and prepare you for your futures as leaders in education.  All EPD colleagues will be coached by trained colleagues to ensure empowerment and motivation.

Your EPD years at CFGS will be:

  • A time of consolidation and development.
  • A chance to focus on areas of individual interest.
  • An opportunity to collaborate with other Early Professional Development teachers.
  • A developmental path towards maturation and promotion within teaching.
  • A chance to achieve a consistency in work/life balance.
  • The key to a successful, long lasting, fulfilling career in teaching.
