Headteacher's weekly update: 08/01/2021
Dear Students and Families,
We hope that you are all safe and well during these trying times. We know that remote learning has its challenges and appreciate all that students and their families are doing to help make this work over this period of lockdown. Despite all the preparations for remote teaching last term, there have inevitably been a few teething problems that we are doing our best to work through. Thank you for your patience, and a huge "well done" to our students who have engaged so well with their learning!
Over the course of this half term we will keep you updated with key developments. We will continue to use SIMS Parent App and the school's text messaging service to communicate with you, in addition to weekly messages on the website, Twitter and Facebook. To that end we will be in touch over the coming weeks about the Teacher Assessed grades that will now replace this summer's GCSE and A Level exams. In the meantime, rest assured that we will make sure that the process is both rigorous and fair.
Wishing you all a good week ahead, and that you stay safe and well.
