Headteacher's message to all students and families
Dear CFGS students and families,
we hope that you are well and have managed to enjoy some of this week’s sunshine. This has been a great week for CFGS as we welcomed back our Year 10 students; it has been wonderful to see to Year 10, to speak with them and to have face to face teaching time with them.
You will have heard about the plans to open schools to all year groups from September. At present the details haven’t been shared with schools, but rest assured that we are already working on a range of scenarios. We will share the plan for September with you before the end of this term. In the meantime, we continue to set work for all students and appreciate your support in keeping learning going.
I’d like to end on two quotes from members of our Student Council, that beautifully articulate the sentiments of CFGS students:
“Hope, pride, and resilience - these are the things we show as part of the CFGS community. It is vital that we stay united, and fight the virus, constantly reminding ourselves that we will see better days.”
“If we all work together and keep each other happy and healthy, we will all get through these difficult times together. ”
