Headteacher's message

Dear CFGS students, families and staff,

As the school year has drawn to a close, it has certainly been  a year in which education has changed in so many ways, and one in which each of us has needed to adapt, develop new skills, and dig deep to overcome some challenging and at times, heart wrenching obstacles.  It will be a time that we will look back on and wonder how we achieved so much, and I hope a time when all of us learned more about ourselves, recognised that we have a lot of positive attributes that we can build on,  and just maybe realised that in fact it is the simple things in life such as  our thirst for learning, being able to adapt, and importantly family and friends that matter most.

I would like to thank every member of our school community for the part you have played in getting us to the end of term. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to students and their families for their continued commitment to CFGS: the summer term has been a tremendous team effort from the whole CFGS family; we would not have got this far without all the hard work, dedication and support.

Please do take the time to read the letter and information about the arrangements for the start of term. We look forward to seeing you in September, and wish you all an enjoyable and restful summer.

Ms E. Holland
